Quest Advising is a service and brand of Clear Projection LLC, San Antonio, Texas. This page says what this site collects and what is done with it.
What this site collects
The form: your name, a mobile number or an email address, your company, the revenue range and employee range you pick, and your answers to the two questions. If you text or call (210) 880-5690, Max gets your number and your message. If you book time, the appointment page is run by Google, and what you enter there goes to Google under its own terms. The site host also keeps ordinary technical logs, such as IP addresses, browsers and the pages requested, whatever you choose about analytics.
What is done with it
Max reads what you send and replies himself. Your note is kept so the conversation can be picked up again later. The rest is used to run the site, to keep it secure, and to keep the records the company needs for tax and for bringing or defending a legal claim.
Text messages
Texting (210) 880-5690 starts a conversation with Max about the message you sent, and it is your agreement that he may answer that message by text, or by calling the number you texted from. Writing to him does not put you on a marketing list. Tell him to stop, or reply STOP, and the texting stops. Your carrier’s usual message and data rates may apply.
Analytics and cookies
Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity load only after you accept them on the banner. If you decline, those scripts are not loaded. When they do run, they collect the pages you view, what you click and how far you scroll, your browser and device, an approximate location worked out from your IP address, and identifiers stored in cookies. Clarity also builds heatmaps and recordings of how pages are used. Text typed into the form is masked out of the recording, which is not the same thing as being anonymous. Google and Microsoft use this data for their own purposes as well, under their own terms, and Microsoft describes advertising uses for some of its cookies: the Microsoft Privacy Statement and how Google uses data on sites that use its services.
Who else handles it
Each service works under its own terms: the company that hosts the site and receives what the form sends, the email provider, Airtable, where inquiry records are kept, Google for the calendar page and for Analytics, Microsoft for Clarity, and your mobile carrier for the texts. Max may also use an AI tool, for example an OpenAI or Anthropic product, to organize or summarize inquiries or to help draft a reply, and he is responsible for what he sends back to you. Information goes to an accountant, an attorney or an authority where the law requires it.
What is not done with it
Clear Projection LLC does not sell your inquiry or your contact details for money, and writing to Max does not put you on a marketing list.
How long it is kept
Inquiry records and email are kept while they are needed for the conversation, and longer where the law requires it for records, tax or a legal claim. After that they are deleted. Google keeps analytics data on its own retention schedule. Microsoft keeps ordinary Clarity recordings for about 30 days, and can keep a few samples longer.
Asking for your information
Write to max@questadvising.com and say what you want: a copy of what is held about you, a correction, or deletion. Max may need to confirm the request is really from you. He answers within the time the law allows, and tells you why if he cannot do something you asked. State privacy laws may give you more rights, and a request is handled the same way whichever state you write from.
Podcast and video
Episodes and clips may be played through a third-party service, for example YouTube or a podcast host. When you play one, that service may collect data under its own terms.
Children
This site is for business owners. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 18. If you believe a child sent something in, write to us and it will be deleted.
Changes to this page
If this page changes, the new version applies from the day it is posted, and the date at the bottom changes to that day.
